As I sat at our dining room table this morning...sipping my coffee...I gazed out the window and viewed this beautiful sight. I love it the mornings when the rays of light stream through the clouds and tree branches...greeting me in the morning!

"The Silo" on my grandfather's farm in Delaware. I took this picture on one of my trips back East in 2005. In addition to the silos the main house, barn, building where the cows were milked, and a few other outbuilding still remain and have been updated and maintained. The remainder of the farm has been divided into medium to large parcels with beautiful homes built on them...and many of the trees remain.

...and below is a picture of my "Grandpa"...although picture was taken in the 1940's and not by me, I remember my grandpa napping in his chair like this...as though it was just yesterday. He was one of the sweetest, loving, hardworking man I've ever known. I think of him often and visit "the farm" whenever I'm back East. The farm ..name "The Plains" is a photographic story in itself!
